Electrician- ACHESON, AB
Westquip Diesel Sales LTD is hiring a Electrician for our Acheson, AB location.
Westquip manufactures power generation equipment, such as generators, light towers, and temporary distribution panels. This position is responsible for the assembly of Power Distribution Products such as portable distribution panels and transformers, diesel generator panels, DC engine control panels, light towers and lighting systems. All work is on site, indoors at our production facility in Acheson, AB.
Responsibilities:
– Assembly and production of new electrical power generation equipment and components.
– Assembly of temporary power distribution panels and generator panels.
– Assembly of light tower products.
– Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
– Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
– Install and connect wiring, outlets, switches, and fixtures
– Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient completion of projects
– Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
Qualifications:
– Journeyman or Apprentice electrician
– Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power tools, hand tools, and low voltage systems
– Ability to work independently or as part of a team
-Own your own tools
– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
